When I follow the instructions for recording voiceover, I get a message saying that it cannot open the Facetime camera or built-in microphone.

I was able to select My Blue Yeti mic without a problem using Shotcut version 18.05.08 (latest version).

In Windows 10 here is how I have my mic set up. (Right click the speaker icon, then Recording Devices)

I am using a Macbook Pro.
Microphone is working fine in other apps but Shotcut gives a message saying that it cannot open it.

Thanks for your help.
I ran from the command line but still get the error message that the microphone cannot be opened.

This issue was fixed in v18.06 for macOS.
