Real Life Video Game Video - some help?

Hello, I am fairly new to Shotcut and can’t seem to find any useful information on making a “real life” video game video.
Creating a non-moving HUD was easy enough, but I have two problems.

  1. First, is there a way to create pictures that move with the people in the movie (something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhYqUeG8UN4 ) or do I have to paste the picture into each frame separately?

  2. Second, how to add Gifs/Animations with transparent backgrounds? I want to add pixelated blood splashes and other moving effects, and can’t seem to find any useful tips that are not about moving text.

Thank you for any help!

No

There are some serious issues with importing gif.
Probably you have the wrong video editor for what you want to do.

Import animated .gif Files

For motion tracking you might want to use Blender

Or HitFilm Express
