I can put a text on an image.
On the other hand, if I have several images in my project and want to put a text on each image how do I go about it?
Should we create a track for each text?

You can split your track by individual images and put the text filter on each of them, or if you want one text spanning over several images then you can create a new track above the first and apply text on a “fake” transparent track. This can be done either by using the chroma-key filter on a solid color track or loading a blank .png file with full transparency. I just found how to do it.
Thank you for your help because thanks to you I was able to advance.
Just for the record. I posted some transparent and black png here .Png and .Tif files with alpha channel doesn't work
